What to Expect

Welcome to Fonke Chiropractic and Decompression Center

After scheduling your first appointment via phone, you will be asked to download and complete the new patient paperwork at home and bring it with you to your first appointment.

Initial Consultation and Examination

Welcome mat

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

Upon arriving you will be given a tour of the office that will end in the consultation room. Here you will watch a short video further introducing you to the office and chiropractic in general. Dr. Fonke will then come in and will listen to you describe your condition. He will ask whatever questions necessary to get a better understanding of your health concerns.

The visit will end in one of the separate patient examination rooms. Dr. Fonke will perform an exam paying special attention to the areas that are ailing you in addition to observing your general range of motion, posture and spinal alignment. If the doctor sees a need for X-rays or a nerve scan you will be referred to a local imaging center.

We will then schedule a report of findings appointment for you at a later time, this could be later in the afternoon on the same day if you had a morning appointment or the next or a few days later, depending on your schedule.

The entire first visit should take approximately 45 minutes.

The Report of Findings

During the report of findings appointment Dr. Fonke will share with you what he feels is the best course of adjustment or decompression treatment that you should take. If you choose to accept care at Fonke Chiropractic and Decompression Center your first treatment will happen on this second visit.
